The multi-purpose court has been included in the draft Masterplan for Five Dock Park, which was on public exhibition from 23 July - 21 August 2025. Learn more.

We are planning to start construction of the multi-purpose court in late 2025.

About the multi-purpose court

Council has received funding to construct a multi-purpose court in Five Dock Park. This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with the City of Canada Bay.

Last year we shared a suggested location for the multi-purpose court on the western side of Five Dock Park, a short walk from the existing playground. Community feedback collected from 4 November - 8 December 2024 revealed concerns with this location, and as such we are now planning to position the multi-purpose court next to the existing skate park, creating a hub of activity in the park.
