The multi-purpose court has been included in the Masterplan for Five Dock Park, which was adopted by Council on 21 October 2025. Learn more.

We are planning to start construction of the multi-purpose court early 2026.

About the multi-purpose court

Council has received funding to construct a multi-purpose court in Five Dock Park. This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with the City of Canada Bay.

Community feedback collected from 4 November - 8 December 2024 revealed concerns with the suggested location of the multi-purpose court, and as such we are now planning to position the multi-purpose court next to the existing skate park, creating a hub of activity in the park.

From 24 July - 21 August 2025 we asked for a feedback on a draft concept design for the multi-purpose court.
