About the new amenities building

The existing toilet block in Five Dock Park has reached its end of life and no longer meets community needs. Over the next two years, Council is planning to replace the grandstand with a new amenities building to better service park users.

Community feedback collected from 4 November - 8 December 2024 was used to draft a concept design for the new amenities building which is included in the Masterplan for Five Dock Park. The Masterplan was adopted by Council on 21 October 2025. Learn more here.

Temporary toilets

We have constructed two temporary toilets in the park, which have been open since July 2025. These temporary toilets will remain in place until the new amenities building is built.
