Segment 3 - Harris Road, Five Dock
Proposed Refuge Island and Bevin Avenue Angled Parking
During community consultation in July/August 2020, concerns were raised by the community regarding the proposed works on Harris Road particularly in relation to the removal of on-street parking. A revised proposal was developed which minimised the loss of on-street parking and further community consultation was undertaken with the community in October 2020. Concerns were again raised by the community and alternate suggestions were received.
At the Council meeting on 1 December 2020 it was resolved to proceed with the construction of this segment of the route, excluding Harris Road. Further investigations have commenced however work on delivering the cycleway is currently focused on other locations. It is anticipated that further engagement will be undertaken with the community in late 2021.

Collaborate Canada Bay contains the copyrighted material, trademarks, patents, trade secrets and other proprietary information (“Intellectual Property”) and its suppliers and licensors.
