Work is progressing at Timbrell Park as the final soil is spread across the site in preparation for turf laying in early March.

The above photo shows the grounds the morning after the flash rainfall on 18 February, showing great promise for the field's recovery post-project.

We anticipate the fields will be ready for the public by mid-May, as we give the new grass time to take root, and work is planned for the parking and cycleway works as part of the Precinct Masterplan.

Residents would also have witnessed the light poles installed in early February, allowing more utilisation of the playing fields at night.
