Thank you for your interest in this project! We asked for feedback on the draft Review of Environmental Factors in July 2025 and we are now excited to share that the REF has been approved clearing the way for works to begin at Timbrell Park.

Temporary fencing has been established on site and over the coming weeks, a contractor will be carrying out preliminary site investigations and preparation works. This will confirm ground conditions, protect the environment, and ensure the project is delivered to the highest standard.

Construction is due to commence in late September 2025 with works due for completion end of March 2026 (weather permitting).

This upgrade will deliver:

• A high-quality natural turf playing surface with improved drainage and irrigation.
• New lighting that meets modern standards for safety and performance.
• Parking improvements and landscaping works that enhance the park’s amenity.
