In May last year we asked for your feedback to inform this Masterplan. Feedback highlighted:

• Street trees are highly valued by the community
• There is a need for improved maintenance of street trees
• The top benefit of street trees is that they provide shade and cooling
• It is important that Council invests in planting and maintaining trees.

Next steps

The Masterplan is now being drafted, taking into account the community feedback received. The draft Masterplan will be placed on public exhibition later this year and during this time, we will also for any feedback or comments on the draft.
