Community planting day

22 November 2022

The Queen Elizabeth Park playground upgrade is almost done and we would like to invite you to help us add the final touches at our community planting day!

Queen Elizabeth Park contains a significant remnant of the endangered ecological community, Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest and is home to variety of bird and animal species. Council is committed to the ongoing recovery of this regionally significant vegetation and we need your support to enhance the biodiversity at this special place.

Roll up your sleeves on Saturday, 26 November and join us in planting hundreds of native trees and shrubs around the new playground. Refreshments will be available for all volunteers.
