The Community Strategic Plan is our community-led plan. It is the highest level of planning undertaken by a Council in NSW and sets out the community’s vision and aspirations for a period of 10 years or more. YOUR future 2030 is our current CSP which is now being reviewed.
Key requirements of a CSP are outlined by the Office of Local Government (OLG) and include:
It is a requirement of the Office of Local Government (OLG) that the CSP be reviewed every four years, following an ordinary Council election. This is to ensure the plan continues to align with the community’s aspirations for the future as our area grows and changes.
Community feedback will be used to the draft a revised community-led plan titled Our Future 2036.
Feedback through the first phase of engagement identified key priorities. The second phase of engagement aims to delve a bit deeper into these identified priorities to better understand how and why they are occurring and how we can best address them.
Community feedback is being used to refine our community-led plan. The draft plan will be placed on public exhibition in April/May 2022 during which time you will be able to review what's been written and provide any final comments or feedback.
All feedback will be considered before the plan is finalised and presented to Council for adoption in June 2022.
