Majors Bay Reserve Recreation Precinct – Norman Street car park

31 August 2023

We are pleased to announce the commencement of work on the Majors Bay Reserve Recreation Precinct.

These works are part of our commitment to providing passive recreation opportunities for our growing community, with funding for this project received from the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, representing a $4.75 million investment into the development of the Majors Bay Reserve Recreation Precinct.

Council is pleased to advise that it is ready to commence the construction of a 46-space car park off Norman Street within Majors Bay Reserve, Concord.

The carpark construction works are scheduled to commence in September 2023, with completion expected by December 2023, weather permitting.

Generally, work will be carried out between Monday to Friday from 7am–5pm; however, there may be instances that will require work to be undertaken outside of these hours.

Should you require further information in relation to the car park construction, please contact our Infrastructure Project Manager, William Boidin on 0439 626 119.
