The Norman Street parking improvements have recently been completed. This is the first element of the Majors Bay Reserve Recreation Precinct to be delivered, which will support the users of the park and the recreation upgrades.

The project team have been busy finalising the design and planning approvals of the playground, outdoor fitness area and multi-use courts, along with pathways and the accessible 'Changing Places' amenity building.

In early 2024, each of these recreation elements will begin to take shape, with completion estimated for mid-2024.

These works are part of our commitment to providing recreation opportunities for our growing community, with funding for this project from the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, representing a $4.75 million investment into the development of the Majors Bay Reserve Recreation Precinct.
