Overview

Council is planning to undertake improvements to the dog off-leash area at Lysaght Park. The aim is to enhance safety and amenity for users of the park and dogs.

We asked for feedback on a draft concept plan for these improvements from 22 November - 20 December 2023. Take a look at the consultation report to see a summary of feedback received.

At the completion of these works, nearby Wire Mill Park will be returned to a dog on-leash facility. This follows a 12-month review of the time restricted off-leash dog area at Wire Mill Park, after which Council resolved in August 2023 that it be returned to its previous dog on-leash use only status.

Council is also undertaking minor improvements at Wire Mill Park. View the improvements at Wire Mill Park.
