Project background

We are committed to supporting people to be active and engaged in our community.

Council has prepared a new draft Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) to make the City of Canada Bay a better place for people living with disability to live, work, and visit. This DIAP identifies actions which Council will undertake to be more inclusive and accessible for all.

The four focus areas of the draft plan, consistent with the NSW Disability Inclusion Plan, are:

  • Attitudes and behaviours
  • Liveable communities
  • Meaningful employment
  • Systems and processes.
