Thank you to everyone who submitted feedback on our draft Sustainability Procurement Policy. All feedback was reviewed before the policy was taken to Council for adoption on 15 June 2021. Minor changes were made to the policy following public exhibition, including amendments to wording to improve clarity, and minor grammatical
and legislative updates.

Background
We have updated our Sustainable Procurement Policy in line with ISO20400. This document was last updated and adopted on 7 June 2011. The City of Canada Bay's Sustainable Procurement Policy defines our sustainable procurement function for consumables, capital works, and services. It relates to all purchasing, purchase cards, tendering, contract management, payments and asset disposal.
