Project Description

The Sisters Bay Seawall Upgrade project, a partnership between the City of Canada Bay Council and the NSW Government, focuses on enhancing coastal resilience and aesthetics from Sisters Bay to Birkenhead Point. This multi-stage project involves preliminary works, detailed design preparations, demolition of outdated structures, and installation of new rock revetments.

Key activities include environmental management planning, adherence to stringent engineering standards, and ensuring minimal impact on the marine ecosystem. With works commencing in July 2024, the project seeks to protect coastal areas while promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship.
