Play, Hit Record! is returning in 2024 for its fifth year!
Participate in this year's Play, Hit Record! program by recording yourself singing or playing a musical instrument. Simply submit your video entry for a chance to perform live on stage at our largest annual street festival, Ferragosto, on 18 August 2024. The winning video performance will also be uploaded and promoted on City of Canada Bay's YouTube channel.
Prizes:
All winners will receive a prize sum to play a set on stage at Ferragosto and promotion on the City of Canada Bay's social media.
- Amateur Performer Under 15: $75 + up to 15-minute set on the community stage at Ferragosto 2024
- Amateur Performer Over 16: $75 + up to 15-minute set on the community stage at Ferragosto 2024
- Experienced Performer: $200 + up to 30-minute set on the community stage at Ferragosto 2024
Video requirements:
- Video must be filmed in horizontal plane (landscape) and submitted in MP4 format.
- Maximum length is three minutes.
