Play, Hit Record! is returning in 2025 for its sixth year!
Participate in this year's Play, Hit Record! program by recording yourself singing or playing a musical instrument. Simply submit your video entry for a chance to perform live at a special local event on the October long-weekend.
Prizes
All winners will receive a prize sum to play a set as part of a special event and promotion on the City of Canada Bay's social media.
- Amateur Under 15 Performer: $50 + up to 10-minute set
- Amateur Over 16 Performer: $125 + up to 20-minute set
- Experienced Performer: $350 + up to 40-minute set
*Note if submitting as a duo or more, the prize amount will stay the same.
An 'amateur' is someone who plays music as a hobby and not as a job.
An 'experienced performer' is accomplished, plays regularly and has material to play a 40-minute set.
