What is litter?

Littering is the act of depositing a piece of rubbish in a place where it has the potential to cause harm or detrimentally affect that place and surrounds. Littering has a significant impact on our public places, making our streets and parks look dirty and unsightly.

The City of Canada Bay recognises the importance of managing litter and aims to address this issue through a range of targeted projects and programs with feedback from our community.
