Feedback on the Code of Conduct Draft Policy has now closed.


The Code of Conduct Policy sets the minimum standards of conduct for council officials and is prescribed by regulation to assist council officials to:

  • understand and comply with the standards of conduct that are expected of them
  • enable them to fulfil their statutory duty to act honestly and exercise a reasonable degree of care and diligence (section 439)
  • act in a way that enhances public confidence in local government.

Council is encouraging the community to review and provide feedback on this draft policy. Any feedback submitted will be considered for incorporation in the policy. The final policy will then be taken back to Council for adoption.


Submissions close on Thursday, 14 April at 5pm.
