About this project

To help improve parking availability and better manage limited on-street parking spaces around the Drummoyne Town Centre, Council is installing new in-ground parking sensors in the Formosa Street Car Park and adjacent on-street angled parking bays.

A map of the parking bays which will receive in-ground parking sensors is below. This project does not involve any changes to the current parking layout or timed parking arrangement.

The existing in-ground parking sensors in the Marlborough Street Car Park will also be upgraded as part of this project.

Construction information

Works will be staged to minimise disruption and nearby residents and businesses will be notified during works as required. Construction hours will generally be Monday–Friday, 7am–10am, however some parts of the car park may be reserved for works from 5am onwards.

Construction is expected to be completed by late July 2025.
