To celebrate Ferragosto we asked residents and businesses to decorate their drive, garden or balcony in Ferragosto style for the chance to win a prize pack valued over $250.

Celebrate Ferragosto by decorating an area of your house or business for the chance to win a prize pack valued over $250. This is a great activity for families and local businesses alike!
If you're stuck for ideas, we’ve produced a decoration toolkit to get you started. This toolkit contains design ideas and templates you can print and use. Click here to download.
You can also ask for a printed copy of the pack at one of our libraries click here to find your nearest library.
If you're looking for decorations, our friends at The Party People in Drummoyne have a wide range of Italian themed products and are offering 10% off to all residents who mention they are celebrating Ferragosto. You can also grab some free streamers in red, white and green, just ask for 'free streamers for Ferragosto please'.
How to enter
This competition is open to residents and businesses within the City of Canada Bay.
To enter, follow these steps:
1. Decorate your house, drive, or business to spread the Ferragosto spirit. If you're stuck for ideas, we've produced a decoration toolkit to get you started. Click here to download.
2. Take a photo of your decorations and complete the form below.
4. Hit submit!
Don't forget to share your photos on social media, tag @canadabay and @FerragostoNSW and use the hashtag #ferragostoathome
Judging criteria
All eligible entries will be reviewed by a panel consisting of members of the Media and Communications and Place Management teams at the City of Canada Bay. The following criteria will be used to select a winner:
- Creativity of design
- Originality
- Relevance to Ferragosto and incorporation of Italian theme.
