Every August, Great North Road in Five Dock is transformed into a huge celebration of Italian food, culture and heritage. With an array of performances, market stalls and live cooking demonstrations, Ferragosto has something for everyone and we want to ensure it continues to be an annual celebration that is loved by residents and visitors alike.

We're now planning Ferragosto 2025! Let us know what you've loved about Ferragosto over the years, what your favourite memories are and how you think our largest annual event could be improved.

Stallholders

Stallholder Applications are scheduled to open late February.

Before beginning the application process, please familiarise yourself with the information below.

  • Public Liability Insurance (minimum $20 million coverage)
  • Images of your previous set ups / mock up
  • List of equipment used
  • Food Safety Checklist*
  • Food Safety Supervisory Certificate (Statement of Attainment will not accepted)*
  • Producer / Wholesaler Liquor License**
  • Evidence of Not-For-Profit Status (if applicable)

Applications will only be accepted via our online application form. It is the stallholder's responsibility to ensure your application has been submitted.

Applications close on Monday 7 April.

Please read all the following information on the application carefully and have all the necessary information ready before you start. Once you begin your application you will need to continue to the end – you will not be able to save and come back to complete it later.

Important Note:

As you work through the application online, you will come to a summary page that shows all the information submitted so far. The next page asks you to complete another set of contact details for the applicant which is very similar to an earlier page for ‘Trading or Business Name’. This page allows traders to provide personal details which are different to those of the business. If this does not apply to you then just repeat the same personal information here again.

If your application has been submitted successfully the system will send you an email confirmation with an EVT reference number. If you do not receive an email acknowledging your application within 20 minutes, then it has not been received and you will need to apply again. If you have problems or have a query, email Events Team.

The City of Canada Bay reserves the right to refuse any application.

If your application is unsuccessful, you will be notified via email. If you have been approved, you will receive an invoice by email requesting full payment. Your position at the event is not confirmed until payment made, if payment is not received by the requested deadline stated on the invoice your spot will be cancelled and released to another stallholder.
