OverDrive eLibrary 24/7: a carefully selected range of genres of digital content in eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines for our library members on the Libby App.

indyreads: a partnership with the State Library of NSW offering a diverse collection of independent Australian and international titles, classic literature and modern award-winning titles. Content is available in multicultural languages such as Chinese, French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish and Vietnamese.

Each of the above platforms offers different collections, so if you are unable to find what you are looking for in one, just try another. All you need is internet access and a current library card. For BorrowBox and indyreads, you will also need to provide your full date of birth (ddmmyyyy) as a PIN.


eFilms and eMagazines

Beamafilm is an online movie streaming service with a collection of independent documentaries and feature films, with content sourced from Ronin, Madman, ABC and other suppliers. The documentaries and feature films range from G, PG and M.

SpineOut is a funky and exciting online magazine for young adults! It includes awesome multimedia content such as writing, book reviews, short films, music, art, photography and so much more! If you are aged 12-19 you can send us your stuff to get published in the magazine!

Good Reading Online is an Australian resource with information on 'everything about books', including thousands of easy-to-read independent book reviews and interesting Australian and international articles, author profiles, stories on writers' houses, bookshops, short stories, book trivia and more.


Music

Freegal is a music streaming and download service.

Get started with your library card number and password (ddmmyyyy). The collection offers access to over six million songs plus the complete local Sony Music Entertainment catalogue. There is no software to download and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions.

The downloadable files do not expire and can be transferred to iPods and MP3 players or burnt to CD. Free mobile apps available at Apple AppStore and Google Play.
