Project background

Council has developed a draft Plan of Management and Masterplan for Drummoyne Oval Precinct, which includes:

  • Taplin Park
  • Drummoyne Oval, and
  • Drummoyne Park.

These plans provide a framework for managing the land, and how it is intended to be used, managed, maintained and enhanced in the future. Community feedback received during the first round of community consultation, from 11 July–14 August 2022, has been used to draft these plans. This feedback is summarised in a community engagement report.

The draft Plan of Management has been reviewed and approved for public exhibition by the NSW Department of Planning Housing and Infrastructure – Crown Lands and Housing and is now presented with the draft masterplan for further input and feedback.

If you have any questions, please contact Peter Montague, Coordinator Planning and Grants, on 9911 6443.

What happens next?

After the public exhibition period, all feedback and submissions will be reviewed and appropriate changes will be made to the draft plans. They will then be reported to Council in late 2024.
