Project background

Council has developed a draft Plan of Management and Masterplan for Drummoyne Oval Precinct, which includes:

  • Taplin Park
  • Drummoyne Oval, and
  • Drummoyne Park.

These plans provide a framework for managing the land, and how it is intended to be used, managed, maintained and enhanced in the future. Community feedback received during the first round of community consultation, from 11 July–14 August 2022, was used to draft these plans. This feedback is summarised in a community engagement report.

The draft Plan of Management was then reviewed and approved for public exhibition by the NSW Department of Planning Housing and Infrastructure – Crown Lands and Housing.

Both documents were placed on public exhibition from 11 June - 22 July 2024, during which time we asked for further feedback from the community. All submissions were reviewed and an updated draft was reported to Council on 20 August 2024.

Read the meeting agenda and minutes and view the adopted Plan of Management and Masterplan.
