Drummoyne Business Chamber is looking to recruit 100 businesses across the City of Canada Bay to support local school work experience programs in four high schools.

Each year, as part of the high school curriculum, over 500 high school students are required to complete a voluntary week of work experience or a voluntary work placement of up to 70 hours.

Drummoyne Business Chamber has established a work experience program in partnership with Council and four local high schools: Concord High, Rosebank College, Domremy College and The McDonald College.

Local business

We invite local businesses across the City of Canada Bay to get involved in this new initiative with great benefits for both students and business. Sign up to this program and help give high school students the opportunity and experience to step into the real world, inform their future work choices and develop skills to become job ready.

Register for one or more of the following opportunities for high school students:

* Work Experience (up to one week – not paid)

* Year 11 Vocational Work Placement (up to 35 hours of work – not paid)

* Year 12 Vocational Work Placement (up to 35 hours of work not paid)
