Enjoy Christmas in Canada Bay with a fantastic line-up of Council and community events. From carols and markets to special visits from Santa, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this festive season.

Council events

  • Christmas activities in Rhodes

    Come along to the recently opened Rhodes Recreation Centre on Saturday, 6 December from 1–4pm to enjoy music and Christmas activities. Plus, enjoy a special visit from Santa at 1:30pm!

  • Christmas activities in Five Dock

    Bring the whole family down to Fred Kelly Place in Five Dock on Saturday, 6 December from 1–4pm to enjoy carols and festive activities. Santa will also be stopping by at 3:30pm! This event is proudly supported by Sydney Metro.

  • Festive Formosa Street Party

    The Shared Space on Formosa Street in Drummoyne will come alive with festive cheer on Saturday , 6 December from 4–9pm and Sunday, 7 December from 11am–3pm. Santa will be stopping by on Saturday at 5pm!

Giving Trees

The City of Canada Bay Giving Trees are now up across the City as part of our annual charity initiative with the St Vincent de Paul Society.

Drop off non-perishable food items, new toys, toiletries and gift cards until Friday, 19 December at:

  • Drummoyne Civic Centre
  • Five Dock Library
  • Concord Library
  • The Learning Space, Rhodes
  • Rhodes Recreation Centre

All donations will be distributed by St Vincent de Paul to support people in need this Christmas.
