With high temperatures forecasted for 17, December 2024 the Christmas activation scheduled for Union Square, Rhodes has been relocated to The Connection - 30 Shoreline Drive, Rhodes.

The City of Canada Bay is excited to welcome the festive season with a fantastic line-up of Council-run and sponsored events across the City. From carols and face-painting to a special visit from Santa, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

City of Canada Bay Giving Tree

Donate to our Giving Trees
As part of a charity initiative with the St Vincent de Paul Society, Council has arranged Giving Trees at locations across the City.

Bring donations of non-perishable food items, new toys, toiletries and gift cards to the following locations until Thursday, 19 December
  • Drummoyne Civic Centre
  • Five Dock Library
  • Concord Library
  • The Learning Space, Rhodes
  • Concord Oval Recreation Centre


Donated items will be distributed by St Vincent de Paul to help those in need.
