Project background
We're developing a Masterplan for Cabarita Park, which will outline upgrades and improvements over the next 10 years.
To help us draft this plan, we want to know:
- What you love about the park?
- How you get to and move around the park?
- What improvements or changes you would like to see?
Feedback will be used to draft the Masterplan, and there will be more opportunities to share your ideas as this project progresses. Press '+Follow' at the top of this page to stay updated.
A Masterplan is a long term (10 yrs+) vision that sets out how an area will develop and function over time and considers the current and future uses of the space.
It develops concept designs and actions consistent with the objectives of the site and Council strategies. It includes a robust community engagement process and is adopted by Council.
Feedback will be used to create a first draft of the Masterplan, which will be shared with the community in early 2026 to make sure we're on the right track.
The draft will then be tweaked as needed and an updated draft will be placed on public exhibition. Public exhibition provides the community with a final opportunity to provide comments or feedback before a Masterplan is taken to a Council meeting for finalisation (adoption).
