Join our Flood Risk Management Committee
Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from community members interested in joining the Flood Risk Management Committee (FRMC) for the Yaralla Bay and Rhodes catchment area.
The FRMC provides advice to Council on flood risk management, and will assist in the development of a Flood Study and Floodplain Risk Management Plan for Yaralla Bay and Rhodes.

About the FRMC
The FRMC will meet at least 4 times per year and consists of:
- Two Councillors, including the Mayor (or their delegate) nominated by Council
- Up to three community representatives
- Council staff representative(s) from Engineering, Planning and Environmental disciplines
- Transport for NSW representative
- Sydney Water representative
- NSW Government representative
- NSW State Emergency Service (SES) representative (from Metro Zone)
- Parramatta River Catchment Group (PRCG) representative
- Additional agency representatives may be invited if deemed appropriate to address particular items.
