3D printer printing ear protectors

Call out: 3D Printing for Frontline Applications

Through 3D Print Club, we would like to mobilise the 3D printers of our community to support frontline and essential services workers. Presently, we are 3D Printing 'Ear Savers', to protect the ears of those wearing masks everyday.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS:

We would like to hear from Makers with idle 3D printers at home that want to volunteer their resources.

The staff of The Learning Space are printing the ‘Face Mask Regulator’, modelled by Covestro. The file can be downloaded from Covestro here. We have printed the file successfully on a CR-10, using ROHS RLA.

If you are interested in contributing, please contact us by emailing thelearningspace@canadabay.nsw.gov.au

CALL OUT FOR PARTICIPANTS:

If you or someone you know would like 3D printed mask regulators, or have a request for other 3D printed materials, please contact us by emailing thelearningspace@canadabay.nsw.gov.au

We are currently not printing PPE, but would recommend contacting COVID SOS.

Further information:

Active Makers interested in becoming more involved can join the ‘Hack the Pandemic’ group on Thingiverse.
