Update
The Planning Proposal was reported to the Council meeting on 18 June 2024 and finalised by the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure on 12 July 2024. Please refer to the Planning Controls (LEP & DCP) webpage for more information.
About the Planning Proposal
Council has received a Planning Proposal to remove the heritage listing on a house at 3 Wolseley Street, Drummoyne (Item no. I505) from Schedule 5 of the Canada Bay Local Environmental Plan 2013 (LEP).
Should the Planning Proposal proceed, the heritage listing would no longer be a restriction on future alterations, additions and/or development on the site.
On 5 April 2024, a Gateway Determination was received from the Department of Planning, Housing and Environment enabling the Planning Proposal to be placed on public exhibition. Council has been authorised as the local plan-making authority.
