Council adopted the new Environmental Strategy on Tuesday 17 March 2020. You can read the adopted documents below.

We are proud to announce that as of 1 July 2019 Council is sourcing a third of the energy used in our day to day operations from renewable sources.

To ensure we are responding to local environmental issues like energy consumption and climate change, we are building a new environmental strategy. We are looking to set some new targets both for ourselves and for our community and we need your help!

Over the next few months, we’ll be announcing a range of new environmental programs and initiatives, as well as working with you to set new goals for the future.
